Lexmark C762

If you have a large office with high capacity printing needs but a small space to fill, it’s hard to find a machine to match the room you have to work with. However, Lexmark has found a compact and affordable way to have exactly what you need in a printer without taking up a large chunk of your office. With a size of 23.8×18.5×20.8 inches, the Lexmark C762 operates with high quality and at quick speeds. Not only will it fit in your office easily because of its small size, but the machine has versatility to operate with almost any operating system out there. Mac, Linux, Novell, Windows, Citrix, Solaris, IBM—you name it, and the Lexmark C762 is probably compatible with it.  Both monochrome and color printing are supported.

Its real downside obviously is its heavy size of 105.2 pounds. This will probably take a few people to move, and it won’t be an easy task. It does offer USB or parallel connection, and optional duplex printing features when needed. A processor of 500 MHz is included, and it has a standard memory of 128 MB. That can be expanded at anytime, though, to 512 MB if needed. Up to 100,000 pages can be printed monthly, meaning the C762 is quite powerful.

You have the ability to print up to 25 pages per minute using the C762, and resolutions of up to 1200×1200 dpi are possible. With resolutions of 1200×1200 dpi, your text documents will look flawless and even graphics can be printed with high quality using this laser printer.

Four toner cartridges will need to be used in order to keep the Lexmark C762 up and running, but replacement cartridges are relatively affordable. This toner will create exceptional documents no matter your canvas—transparencies, envelopes, plain paper, labels, glossy paper and banner paper are all supported.
