When you are looking for a new laser printer for your small office, it is nice to have options.  Not just options in manufacturers and color capabilities, but options within a model.  Not understanding?  Let’s take a look at the popular Konica Minolta 2300.  Sure, people appreciate the reliability and efficiency this unit provides, but the variety is also an extremely attractive feature.  The base model will be a good addition to a simple or undersized office, but there are more advanced options available.  The 2300w includes built-in wireless printing, which is almost a necessity in a work environment.  The 2300dl has automatic duplex printing and extra paper capacity.

This machine is known for its simple set-up and user-friendly navigation.  The USB and parallel connections can be found on the lower left side of the unit, which is actually a bit unusual.  The 2300 can produce black and white-documents at a rate of 16 pages per minute, while the color documents can only be produced at 4 pages per minute.  Though these speeds are not mind-blowing, they will certainly suffice for small offices.

The 2300 weighs 55 pounds, which is a bit heavy and may require two people to install it in the office.  However, once it is there, the 15x15x20 inch frame should fit pretty comfortably on any desk space.  Their paper capacity is a bit disappointing at 200 sheets, but again for a small office this should be enough so users don’t have to reload paper more than once, or maybe twice a day.

Here is the thing about the Konica Minolta 2300—it is nothing to write home about.  It is an affordable laser printer with enough features to cover the bare necessities of an office.  Even the 2300w and 2300dl models are no match for other fancy featured units on the market.  But for small and non-complex work environments, the 2300 series has everything you could need, and it fits the budget.
